I am sure you will be tempted to use those and spend considerable amount of money. What if I say, that you can treat your dry skin by using some of the most common things from your kitchen? Yes, you can. I am not joking at all. You can use some of the easily available household items and then see the magic. Below are the skin care tips for rainy season if you have dry skin.

Brown sugar and olive oil

The brown sugar is an excellent scrub which helps in removing the stubborn dead cells from your skin. The olive oil will nourish the skin from within, and remove the dryness within few minutes. The olive oil acts as a moisturizer; it will retain the moisture in the skin which will prevent the dryness. Keep the pack for 15 minutes and then wash off with cold water.

Papaya and yoghurt

The papaya fruit is good for health, and also for your skin. Your skin may feel dry due to the lack of moisture in the skin. You can make a face pack with three tablespoon of mashed papaya and ½ a tablespoon of plain yoghurt. Apply this thick face pack all over your skin, your face, neck, hands etc. Keep the pack for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water. The face pack will not only cure the dryness, but will also remove the suntan and dark spots. Yogurt has natural bleaching properties which is good for skin.

Banana

This tasty fruit is filled with loads of nutrients and several health benefits. When you are thinking about skin care, then banana cannot be missed. The banana has essential vitamins and nutrients that are beneficial for the skin. The fruit helps to maintain the moisture level in the skin, thus preventing it to get dry. Mass some banana and apply the same on your skin. Let it dry and then wash with cold water. You can also rub the inner side of the banana skin on your face. The banana skin works as very good exfoliation removing the dead cells and the impurities.

Rose water

Take a cotton ball, and apply some rose water. Rub the rose water gently on your face. You can then leave it that way. Do not need to wash your face after applying rose water. The rose water acts as a best toner. It will remove the impurities, will moisturize the skin and also keep it glowing. You can do this around 4 times a day. Make sure that you apply rose water before going to bed. You will have fresh glowing skin after you wake up.

Skin care tips for rainy seasons – oily skin

Oily skin is a great problem for all of us because it leads to pimples and several other problems. The pimples are stubborn, and when dies, three other grow in its place. Just like Hydra, pimples invade oily skin and can wreak havoc. The oily skin attracts a lot of impurities and germs, and they enter the skin. The oily skin has lots of opened pores through which germs can penetrate your skin. But, you need not worry as here are some of the quick and simple skin care tips for rainy season, if you have oily skin.

Lukewarm water

The lukewarm water is especially good for your skin. The warm water will clean the pores. The pores contain oil and dirt and the warm water can be one effective remedy for it you can wash your face with it thrice a day, and make sure to use warm water after returning home. The outside environment is filled with impurities and pollution. So, always wash your face with lukewarm water.

Raw honey

The honey helps in the exfoliation of your skin and thus removing the unwanted germs and the dead cells from your skin. The honey can remove the excess oil from your skin by closing the pores. You can apply one tablespoon of raw honey. You can add one teaspoon of lime juice with it. This will help in removing the suntan and you can get rid of the oil easily. You can apply the honey plus lime juice pack to your face, keep for ten minutes and then wash it.

Chickpea flour or besan

The chickpea flour or besan is especially good for your oily skin. Besan can soak oil from your skin, leaving it fresh. Oily skin can get sticky and it will seem like you are sweating always. But that’s not always the case. Mix two tablespoon of besan, with one tablespoon of milk. Create a face pack and apply the same on your skin. Leave it for 20-25 minutes and then wash it off. You can use cold water to wash as the cold water helps to close the pores.

Skin care tips for rainy seasons – combination skin

A combination skin is one in which there is both the oily and the dry skin tone. The other parts of the face may remain dry but the T-zone is oily. T-zone refers to the area of the forehead, nose and chin. These areas have maximum number of sweat glands. The sweat glands secrete the sweat making the areas oily. There are some simple and effective skin care tips for rainy season, if you have combination skin type.

Lime juice and salt

You can slice the lemon into two halves and then apply salt on one slice. Rub the salted slice gently on your skin, especially the T-zone. The granules of salt will clean the face, remove the impurities from within and the lemon juice will remove the excess oil. You can rub gently for 10 minutes and then wash with cold water. Do not go out in the sun after applying this as lemon juice has bleaching properties.

Toner

The use of toner is absolutely essential for taking care of combination skin. You can apply rose water, and also make your toner at home. You can fill glass full of water, put some slices of cucumber, rose petals, and glycerin in water. Leave the water overnight, and you can refrigerate it if you want to enjoy the cool refreshing toner. Take some cotton wool, apply this toner on your face and skin and rub gently.

Split green gram and white flour

Split green gram and white flour or maida will help you a lot to get rid of the problems of the combination skin tone. Make a thick paste of Split green gram; add refine flour (or Maida) and then some milk. Mix everything well to make a paste like formation. You can add a dash of honey to it too, if you want.

Apply the face pack and wait for 30 minutes. Wash your face with cold water. You will find that the T-zone is not that sweaty and your face will be fresh and glowing.

  1. Skin care in monsoon is important because in monsoon we mostly face heavy hair fall. So massage with any organic Castor oil,Argan Oil & coconut oil will help to control hair fall. Repeat this at least twice a week & see the difference. Happy Monsoon 🙂
